Noëlle two for one, deux pour un...

Peu de mots depuis les derniers jours, comme lors des dernières semaines, mais au moins mes pinceaux, et forcément moi, ont été actifs...Noëlle est terminée, signée, Noëlle en juin....depuis mardi que je tentais de le terminer, un des avantages de l'acrylique...pas besoin de laisser reposer trop longtemps...et pour un tableau acrylique, je crois qu'il est pas mal...à vous d'en juger...le pastel aussi est terminé, j'ai moins de difficulté à arrêter un pastel, même si parfois il ne me semble pas tout-à-fait fini, l'acrylique et l'huile surtout, c'est une histoire différente...probablement que certains trouveront certaines versions meilleures que la finale...ou non....

Not many posting over the last days, since tuesday, but this time my brushes, and you can guess me as well, were busy, working on Noëlle, I guess in english the play word with Noëlle and Noël (Christmas) doesn't work, so if you understand french read it, or not, not to important...:) So, this acrylic painting is finished, signed....so a few versions, stretching from last tuesday to tonight sunday, for an acrylic, I'm pleased, of course could have been better...but I think it is more than ok....also the pastel is finished, did not reworked it, seems that in pastel, I don't have to much trouble, leaving a painting a bit unfinished, not the same story for painting, especially oil...so here's the last few versions, of course, some will probably think that one of these version was better...or not, to you to be the judge...:)

De retour...I'm back..part 2....

Comme Arnold...qui disait 'I'll be back'...ben voilà, suis de retour...du moins un peu, encore bien des choses que je dois terminer, attend toujours mon nouvel ordi....je sais que lorsqu'il arrivera, il y aura encore des jours de silence..enfin, voilà pour un retour, un peu timide pour le moment...donc Noelle, le tableau acrylique, le pastel lui, ira probablement rejoindre la liste des 'terminés'

Like Arnold in the terminator...who had this beautiful line...'I'll be back' well I'm back, at least sort of...still things, many, to do, still waiting for this new computer, so expect a more spotty showing of new stuff or reworked, but at least, I be posting a few things, probably on and off for the next few weeks, one or two, then I'll probably be back for good...in the meantime, Noelle, the acrylic painting, the pastel will probably be heading for the storage of the finished ones..

De retour...I'm back...

Bien silencieux ces dernières semaines, alors voilà je reprends un peu de ce retard...
Been very quiet these last few weeks, so let's try to catch up on what was done....

Encore un peu de Sophie...pas signé, à vrai dire, retravaillé un peu au cours de la fin-de-semaine, mais de ce temps-ci, pas le choix je dois consacrer du temps, beaucoup de temps, à régler des affaires qui traînent depuis trop longtemps, entre autre 3 ans de rapport d'impôts à faire...oui je sais, stupide...et un nouvel ordi qui arrive, donc je dois faire de la 'réingénierie' de mon appartement, faire de la place, en profiter pour réaménager l'atelier, le bureau, alouettte...donc je serai probablement encore très discret, pour les prochains jours, semaine, probablement...vais essayer tout de même d'en faire un peu, soit de la peinture ou du pastel...mais surtout je dois remettre le tout en place...la discipline en peinture, j'en ai pas mal, je ne peux en dire autant pour le reste...:)

Donc la dernière version de Sophie, encore une bataille, celle là, mais je crois qu'à la fin je gagnerai...:)

Still a little bit of Sophie, not finished, did not worked much on painting this week-end, got to a point where I do have to take care of some business, I left too many things go sideways over the last few years, and I'm to the point I do have  to get some order back...and I do have three years of income tax return forms to fill...yes stupid of me, I'm much more disciplined toward art than everything else...

So the latest of Sophie Marceau...still a fight, but I think I will won....:)

Finalement...Finally...

eh oui finalement quelque chose, pas de nouveau, mais de renouvelé....Sophie, la version, déjà désuète, je déteste le mot obsolète....donc la version de voilà quelques jours, que j'ai retravaillée un peu hier et beaucoup aujourd'hui, je ne crois pas être en mesure de la terminer, mais il y aura une autre version, en fin-de-semaine, je ne dirai pas demain...pour me donner un peu de latitude, et de longitude...:)

Oh yes, finally, something, not new but renewed...Sophie, this version is a few days old and already obsolete....did rework a bit yesterday, and a lot today...the next one will be over the week-end, signed, I don't think so...but, will see, over the week-end, could have wrote tomorrow, but I prefer to give myself some leaway, or a way out....some latitude, don't know if you do have this meaning for latitude in english, as for leaway, I guess it is understandable, as for longitude...well, I will stop here...

Pas grand-chose/Not much going on...

Pas beaucoup de nouveau à montrer, par contre peins un peu, mais Sophie ce sera pour la prochaine fois…en attendant celle d’hier, modèle soit souriante ou songeuse

Not much to show, but painted a bit tonight, but Sophie will wait to the next time, now the one reworked last night, this model sometimes smiling or sometimes pondering….
