Le temps des impôts....Time for the Taxman...

e croyais bien naïvement avoir beaucoup de temps à consacrer à la peinture et au dessin dans ce long congé, tout en faisant mes impôts, faut dire que j’avais deux années à faire, donc finalement pas mal moins de temps pour l’art, et beaucoup plus pour apaiser les ministères fédéral et provincial du revenu…au moins je suis à jour, pour la première fois depuis des années, enfin presque, il reste à les mettre au propre…j’ai jusqu’au 30, enfin pour celui de cette année, donc peu de temps passé à l’art, donc comme c’est souvent le cas lorsque je manque de temps, je me suis réfugié derrière mes pastels et au devant de Carla, oui encore une fois…la prochaine fois je passerai à une autre, promis.

I though I could manage, besides filling my income tax reports, finding some time for painting, drawing, something a lot more fun than contenting the Taxman, well did not found much time for fun, at least for the first time in close to a decade, I will be in time for submitting these things, I had two years to do, so at least this is done, or almost, just have to rewrite them neatly, just did the draft, but I do have until the 30 th…so now time for some pastel, and since I am short on time, and Carla is still on the easel, and my pastels, then I went for the easy way…next time there will be another one, sometimes I will have finish this painting or move to something else, but not today…

Mais la photo attendra…but the picture will wait

J’ai plutôt décidé de donner suite à une idée qui me trotte depuis un certain temps dans la tête, m’inspirer de photo de paysage, paysage sidéraux…pour faire différent, me sortir de ma zone de confort…
I have decided to go ahead with an idea that is been in my mind for a while, a landscape, but more of an outer space landscape, why stay here, may as well explore, and get out of my confort zone…
