La version à jour de ce tableau, mélange scène de rue, abstraction et mode, soit manteau rouge et bottes noires, faut bien que ma ‘signature’ ou marque de commerce y soit…..:) difficile à photographier cependant ce tableau, je crois que la photo précédente a été prise au matin, le peu de lumière du jour ou un peu trop de photoshop, ont altéré la lumière, donc la réalité en fait de lumière est quelque part entre les deux, la photo de la version finale sera plus soignée….mais on est pas encore rendu là…
The updated version of this painting, partly street scene, abstract or fashion oriented one, with a red coat and black boots, after all I must include my ‘signature’ or my trade mark….:). The previous version look brighter, but I think it is more of an optical effect due to the daylight that was partly filling the room, the last version photograph was taken at night, as it is most of the time, I try to adjust both in photoshop, but this one particular painting is difficult to adjust, anyhow I will be more careful when time will come to take the final photo, but it is not the time for that yet….

Entre des numérisations, du travail sur photoshop, tout en m’amusant un peu peu avec Daz et Poser, sans compter faire l’essai du logiciel Silo, un logiciel de modélisaiton 3D, autant pour la création d’objet que de modification de modèles existants, par exemple créer des ‘morphs’ dans Poser, un peu plus sur cela éventuellement, oui je suis vacances, enfin quelques jours de repos, encore une semaine devant moi, drôle de vacances, mais cela me détend de travailler sur ces logiciels, mais bien sûr je garde du temps aussi pour la peinture, la dernière version du tableau de la Comtesse Monique, pas terminé…
Between scanning my old films, working on photoshop, and playing or fooling around with Daz and Poser, posing my models and playing art director…not forgetting trying a new software, Silo, nice modelling software, this one is more about modelling objects or modifying existing models, like creating morphs on existing model, it does work with Poser, don’t know yet for Daz, yes strange ways to use my few holidays period, I am off for another week, maybe it isn’t exactly a vacation, but it is fun to have time to do what you like, and of course, I did some painting, here’s the last version of Comtesse Monique, not finished yet…

J’ai aussi retravaillé un autre tableau, un modèle portant un manteau rouge et des bottes noires, tableau d’un style quelque peu abstrait, en voici une version, d’autres s’en viennent, je me garde du matériel pour de futurs articles…:)
I did also work on another canvas, a model wearing a red coat, black boots, I gave it a more abstract that usual look, here’s a version, others are ready, I may still work a bit more on it, I am just keeping those pics for coming posts…:)

Un long article, n’est-ce-pas? pour cette longue fin-de-semaine ici au Québec, demain c’est férié, certains fêteront la reine Victoria….signe de la tradition britannique, les vainqueurs en 1763….; d’autres fêtent Dollard des Ormeaux, un personnage canadien-français, dont on ne sait plus trop si c’est un héros ou tout simplement un voleur de fourrures et qui serait mort en voulant voler des fourrures à un groupe d’iroquois, et d’autres enfin célèbrent la courte rébellion des Patriotes, contre les britanniques, en 1837-1838, on aurait pu devenir une république…quant à moi je célèbre le congé du dollar patriotique royal…en faisant de la peinture et autres affaires sur mon ordi….
A fairly long post, isn’t it? this is a long week-end here in Quebec, tomorrow for some is Victoria Day, after all we’ve been a british colony for a long time, others will celebrate Dollard-des-Ormeaux, used to be considered a heros, now it does seems it was more of a shady person who died trying to rob some furs from some ‘Iroquois’ , others are celebrating or remembering a short rebellion against the bristish in 1837-38, Quebec could have become a republic, a bit like our neighboring United States… so for me it is now the Royal Patriotic Dollard day and I will mark it by painting and fooling around with various software to produce a few mores paintings, renderings and photographs from my past…
J’aurais dû continuer à faire mon ménage…de printemps….et aussi j’essaie d’être certain d’avoir tout copié mes fichiers de mon ordi ‘malade’ avant de lui faire un traitement choc…en attendant je réapprends la patience avec mon ancien ordi, qui fait son job, mais comme on peut s,y attendre d’un vieil ordi, il le fait comme il peut…L E N T E M E N T . . . …. Mais comme le ménage printanier ne me tentais guère, je me suis plutôt remis à peindre, à l’acrylique, ce modèle au manteau rouge, il progresse, lentement, mais plus vite que mon vieil ordi…..la photo, ensuite celle du modèle et le diaporama….
I should have kept doing some spring clean up, don’t know if it was the clock change, spring forward, but I did not feel like it, besides I had to copy files from my main, supposely fast, computer, to make sure I do not lose anything, so instead of springing forward to a new painting, I kind of fall back on a previous reworked one…no not the comtess, but an acrylic, from an unknown or knowned as the red coat model, with black boots, still going well, slowly coming out, but not as S L O W . . . as my old computer who’s serving as my workhorse these days…let’s say it does what he can….so the latest pic, the model pic and the slideshow…

Une autre de ces soirées où il est difficile de se mettre à peindre, mais ce soir au lieu de chercher à passer le temps à faire toutes sortes de petites choses plus ou moins utile, j’ai plutôt sorti mes tubes acryliques, en me disant que je continuerais ce tableau d’un modèle démultiplié, de son manteau rouge et ses bottes noires, en essayant de faire quelque chose un peu différent de ce que je fais habituellement, j’espère que ce sera réussi….
tonight again I was in ‘panne’ let’s translate by stalled, or stuck, or can’t decide on anything that I should do, I guess you can figure out the meaning now…so again one of these nights, where I can get moving, so instead of working on a multitude of small, more or less important things to do, why not trying to paint something different tonight, not as much the subject, a model and her red coat, and black boots, repeated in the painting, the difference, I tried a bolder gesture, acrylics I thing are well suit for that, quick to work and drying fast, too fast sometimes but there is ways to alter that, so a bit of painting after all, different? will see, for now I would say yes….hope I will succeed….
