A very short post….a new page on my site JMR-ART, in development of course…

Un peu de photographie...a bit of photography...

Je ne sais pas si c’est finalement le soleil qui revient, bien que timidement, ou que j’ai finalement posté mes déclarations au fisc, ou encore que je me suis décidé à acheter un numériseur qui peut traiter des négatifs ou diapositives, mais en même temps que le peintre voulait aller au chevet ooops chevalet, le photographe renaît…mais comme je ne voulais pas aller pour une longue promenade je me suis dit que photographier quelque chose de pas trop éloigné serait bien, donc…prudemment assis sur le pas de la porte de l’appartement…d’un côté et de l’autre….

Maybe it is the sun finally showing up here, or just the fact that I finally posted my income tax declarations or just because I am excited waiting for my new scanner I ordered, one that can take slides and negatives,, but I felt the urge to take a few photos, since the painter was also eager to go to the easel, I decided to look very near for inspiration, sitting on the door step, to the right , the sun manage to shine through the balcony, and then a look to the left…

Peut-être même aller jusqu’à l’escalier….hum est-ce l’appel de la peinture que j’entends…hum difficile de photographier un son…peut-être même imaginaire, mais tout-de-même bien réel…

Trees and ironworks, maybe I should venture up to the stairs….hum what’s that, I almost though I heard the calling of my paint tubes, or Miki or Liz or the Comtess, silly, photo cannot convey sounds, especially when they are imaginary…but real at the time…so time to get to the easel….

Un dernier regard sur ma rue, oui on a un programme de recyclage, vous savez maintenant, grâce au bac vert que j’habite à Montréal, et que les arbres se cachent derrière les montants en fer forgé du balcon, tant bien que mal, il est trop gros…et maintenant, allez hop, à l’atelier….

A last look, so now you know I live in Montreal, and we have recycle bins, ‘nos bacs verts’, and trees are trying to hide behind the ironworks of the balcony…yes silly, they are too big, and they can’t hide completely…really time to get back to painting…

Et j’ai bien hâte de pouvoir numériser mes diapositives,  des choses qui sont dans l’ombre depuis bien trop longtemps…
And I am really looking forward to get that new scanner, so many slides and negatives to scan, they been too long in the dark, time to show them, but in a few days or weeks before I get to the bulk of them.

2014-03-24, Lundi / Monday

Je hais les lundis…la seule bonne chose des lundis, c’est lorsque finalement ils sont choses du passé…par contre Liz n’est pas encore du passé, et contrairement aux lundis, je l’aime bien moi Elizabeth Hurley, probablement pour cela que l’éternel ado amoureux de son modèle actrice chérie ne se lasse pas de la peindre, peut-être que je devrais en commencer une autre d’elle, mais par contre j’en ai déjà deux en cours, donc faudrait que j’en termine au moins une avant…en attendant une photo.

I hate mondays, I really do…the only good thing about that day it is when it is over….but this Liz’s painting is not over yet, still missing something or maybe it is just that like a young teenager who pin on the wall pictures of his favorite actress, singer or model, I just can’t let her go….maybe I should start another painting of her, but It just came back to my mind that I already have two paintings of her going now, so maybe I should at least finish one before getting to another of her…in the meantime the latest version….

Et pourquoi pas montrer ce qu’elle avait l’air samedi soir, oublié de prendre une photo hier, je m’étais un peu perdu entre temps mais c’est revenu, finalement pour un lundi c’est pas si mal je pense….
And maybe I should also post the version when I quit saturday night, forgot to take a picture last night, got a bit lost but re founded, not bad for a monday finally…

Est-ce que je vous ai déjà montré sa photo, hum on commence à me faire savoir que parfois je pers la mémoire, elle doit être sélective  ma mémoire, donc au cas où je ne l’aurais pas fait voici sa photo.

Did I showed you her pic, I don’ quite remember, I guess that probably what they call a selective memory, in this case a selective action of forgetting, so just in case I did not previously show her picture, there it is.

Pas fait grand chose hier, donc un peu d'Etsy et de facebook

Je n’ai pas eu le temps hier de faire grand chose, sauf mettre à jour ma boutique Etsy, encore bien embryonnaire….plus bas, vous avez la totalité de la boutique à ce moment-ci, soyez sans crainte, il y en aura plus et non je ne mettrai pas toutes les photos à chaque fois que j’annoncerai ma boutique sur Etsy…JMRgalerie

Si vous avez des commentaires ou des suggestions, les deux sont plus que bienvenus…

Not much time last night for much, except for adding a few things to my Etsy galery, I still have to work on the  translation…so parts of the galery will probably in french only, it will be updated in a few days…here’s what’s actually on my site, more will come, but of course I won’t show later the whole coolection….in the meantime, please feel free to comments or suggest a few things, I will look into them and see what can be done to improve my site, so the link……JMRgalerie
