Miki encore, mais des rendus de logiciels 3d....Still with Miki, but with the help of 3d softwares renderings

Aprés le tableau de Miki, pourquoi pas montrer quelques autres rendus en 3d du modèle, cette fois-ci, j’ai utilisé Poser 10, les rendus sont plus beaux et demandent moins de réglages qu’avec Daz, du moins pour un montage simple dans ce cas-ci, rien d’autre que de modifier les poses, le visage…la première tentative était plutôt raté, le visage détonne du reste du corps, le moins que je puisse dire…par contre poser un modèle avec Daz Studio est d’une grande simplicité, alors qu’avec Poser, j,ai plus l’impression de retrouver des logiciels plus compliqués, comme Autocad…c’est mon métier, dessinateur avec Autocad….

After working on this painting of Miki, I did some work in Poser, an animation and posing software, that were she came from…the previous ones were made with Daz Studio, the renderings in Poser seems more real, both were made, the previous one in Daz and those in Poser with minimal settings for lighting. But in Poser the posing…sorry for the repetition…:) is more difficult than in Daz, so both have their very strong points…the first rendering wasn’t too good, her face look it doesn,t belong to the same body…

quelques autres tests. comme par exemple appliquer la texture au corps avant d’en appliquer une autre au visage, donnent de meilleurs résultats, je trouve qu’elle a l’air plus naturelle, enfin cela ne peut encore concurrencer un vrai modèle mais j’aime bien le résultat, surtout qu’on peut faire encore beaucoup au niveau de la pose, de l’éclairage pour rendre le tout encore plus réaliste, évidemment j’ai essayé plusieurs autres petites choses, plus ou moins réussies, mais cela fera peut-être l’objet d’un prochain article.

A few more tests, like applying the body texture, before the make up, did bring much better results, she looks almost natural, of course it isn’t the real thing like a real model, but to me it is pretty fine…I did many others tests, more or less successful, but maybe it will be material for another post sometimes…

J’ai mis quelques rendus de différentes poses, je me suis amusé…
I did a few more renderings of a few different poses, it was fun….

Et j’ai décidé de lui faire pousser les cheveux, au lieu de lui donner une coupe, une seconde et elle a une chevelure plus longue, j’imagine que ce serait le rêve de tout modèle, photographe de mode ou styliste….and elle en rit bien….

And I decided at the end to give her not an haircut, but more like the inverse, in a few seconds, not even one she had long hair, I guess it would be a dream situation for a model, photographer or art stylist….:) and she’s laughing about it….

Voilà en partie mon dimanche, en plus de faire quelques ajustements à l’ordi, à ma connexion internet à laquelle il manque toujours un petit quelque chose depuis mes mésaventures, et aussi je n’ai pu résister à installer une nouvelle version de photoshop…hum pas sûr que ce soit une si bonne nouvelle, moi qui a tendance à m’éparpiller passablement, enfin on verra….

So this was part of my Sunday, on top of working on a few things on my computer, still have to get a few things up to par since my mishaps of last week, and on top of that I got a new version of photoshop…adding that to my scan, and my tendancy to spread out a bit too much, I’m not sure it is a so good news…well we will see, I think it is a good thing…:)

Entre des séances de logiciels 3D, Poser et Daz, éventuellement je ferai des articles sur ces logiciels, et aussi sur Photoshop, j’ai aussi travaillé le tableau de Miki, qui comme vous le savez maintenant n’était pas terminé….donc voici la version à jour de ce tableau et du diaporama.

Between working on a few 3D projects in both Poser and Daz, eventually there will be a few posts on these softwares and the work I am trying to do with these, and also my new found or refound interest for photoshop and photography in general, well I did work on this painting of Miki, so now you know I wasn’t finished with it….so here’s the latest version, the latest not the final one….and the slideshow.

J’avais planifié de publier cet article au début de la semaine, mais parfois les aléas de la vie d’administrateur des services informatiques de mon entreprise….heureusement seulement 2 ordis à gérer, font que la cédule fout le camp…:)

I was going to publish this last Tuesday, but sometimes the up and down of my life as self proclaimed Computer specialist of my home business…fortunately just two computers to take care of….make plans to go down the drain….:)

Ce soir j’ai bien le goût de le signer ce tableau, que je termine à l »huile, un peu trop de difficulté à obtenir l’effet que je voulais avec l’acrylique, donc comme je  le fais souvent,  pour la finition j’y vais avec l’huile, et dans ce cas ci j’aime bien le résultat, mais je me garde encore un peu de temps, demain je verrai, peut-être quelques retouches mineures, il me semble que c’est souvent comme cela, j’en termine plusieurs de ces toiles dans un laps de temps relativement court, faut dire que souvent je les ai commencé dans un temps assez rapproché, donc c’est peut-être un peu normal…la photo de la toile

Tonight I am pretty close to sign it this painting, an acrylic but I am finishing it with oils, sometimes I just can’t get the effect I want with acrylics, so I like to switch to oil to get the job done, and I think it is working out today, but I will probably wait tomorrow, have a good look at it and maybe a few touches, but if I do feel the way I feel about it tonight there won’t be much work on it…so maybe another one for 2014, often it seems to me I will finish a few in a relatively short time, maybe it is because I started them in a short period apart too, that make sense…:) the photo

Et le diaporama et la photo du modèle, un modèle de synthèse d’un logiciel 3d superposé à une esquisse, qui ne paraît plus, au début on la devinait, maintenant il n’en reste que la pose…
And the slideshow and the model’s photo, a computer generated one, superposed onto a sketch I made, but the sketch doesn’t show much, it was there in the early stages, but now there is only the pose from that sketch…
