Non ce ne sera pas une habitude...No I won't make an habit of it....
Mais aujourd’hui il y aura la photo, correction, les deux photos du jour, un bâtiment munichois inconnu et un munichois, déambulant par là, enfin je présume qu’il est ou était munichois, c’était tout-de-même en novembre 1986…donc un instagram, enfin une photo d’époque ou presque….enfin deux photos….exactement.
But for today, there will be again today’s photo, actually two of them, an old building, and on the second one a Munichian, hum not sure, ok somebody from Munich, but maybe he is from somewhere else…and anyway it was in 1986, so an old time instagram…yeah I know in that time they call that a photo, a vintage photo from not so long ago, to me rediscovered memories…

Munich...en noir et blanc/in black and white...
Une pause du tableau de la Comtesse, qui si je ne me trompes habite la région de Francfort, donc de Francfort à Munich, de la peinture à la photo, je n’ai pas eu beaucoup l’occasion de continuer à expérimenter mon nouveau numériseur, donc ce matin un essai avec quelques négatifs monochrome, des photos prises lors d’un voyage, voilà bien longtemps…j’étais à Munich, comme c’est souvent le cas, je suis arrivé après l’Oktoberfest, donc je passais beaucoup de temps dans les rues peu achalandées de la ville, c’était en novembre 1986.. c’est bien de faire sortir du noir de vieilles choses, du temps où je photographiais plus que je ne peignais…
A break from Comtesse Monique’s painting, if I am not mistaken she lives around Frankfurt, so we move from Frankfurt to Munich or München in goethe language, a few black and white photos I did then when travelling there, a new test with my scanner, I did not have much time playing with it since. So those pics were taken in November 1986, long time ago…but it is nice to get old ‘souvenirs’ out of the dark, much more to do and come I guess….
Je m’ennuie de certaines choses que je faisais en chambre noire, ces films je les ai développés moi-même, fait quelques impressions, ou tirages, je me souviens que c’était beaucoup de travail, de plus comme je suis plutôt malhabile de mes mains…ce n’était pas toujours très plaisant ce ‘travail’, donc même si l’ambiance de chambre noire me manque, je trouve cela pas mal plus facile d’accès en utilisant mon numériseur et photoshop, quoique j’ai beaucoup à apprendre et faire avec ces outils modernes…aussi je commence à me dire que je devrais créer des pages supplémentaires afin d’y regrouper mes photos, mes travaux sur logiciels d’animation…ah des projets…encore…:) En attendant une version d’une des deux photos ci-haut, en utilisant quelques fonctions de photoshop.
I do miss some of the feeling of working in a darkroom, those pics were developed by me in a makeshift locker, lightproof or almost….:), it was a lot of work, especially for somebody lime me who is a bit, a lot, clumsy with his hands…but on the other hand these new tools, scanner, photography software are a lot of fun to use, even if I feel I do have a lot to learn yet, either for basic settings or just playing around with photoshop effects, like the pic here after. I think I will have to start thinking about setting up pages on my sites to regroup photo works as well as my 3D software posing, and renderings, so I guess more projects on deck….
