Kept on working on Shania’s painting, but I think my ‘stay wet palet’ was quickly becoming dry or used or time to change, but mainly after so many hours on this painting, what is more needed than anything else is a fresh look, so corrected a bit her left arm, it wasn’t working right, I thought of imitating Milot with his Venus, but decided to move to another, and it will be for the next time, so next is Paulina…but before, here’s Shania’s last version….

As it is often the case, when I do switch from one medium to another, I do seem to work more loosely, and this is the case with this painting, so far I refraining myself of doing to much of a ‘portrait’ style painting, going more for movement, texture and trying using or keeping as much of the blue background…the photo.

Note : Photos have been edited in photoshop, to try to match as closely as possible the real colors of those paintings, of course trying to render canvas color on screen is not that easy, I think they are quite close although…
